Title: storing images in AAC (Apple Lossless) files
Post by: nickharambee on April 10, 2007, 05:49:23 pm
hi

itunes is able to store/embed artwork in AAC files, but i can't get MC12 to do this with my Apple lossless files.  I have tried removing all artwork and then adding it again (i have folder.jpgs in album folders).  i have the option checked to 'store images in tags also'.  MC recognises the artwork, but doesn't embed it in the file.  The Help section in MC12 states that this feature is supported for formats that allow images to be added, and because itunes can do this, i am presuming that AAC supports this.  so not sure why MC12 isn't doing so. can anyone advise?

thanks

nick

Tagging support is limited for proprietary Apple formats.

We recommend more open formats like APE or FLAC if you like lossless.
