Title: Inplace update to 12.0.198 fails in XP.

I have registered copy of 12.0.147 on XP.  I tried several times to update using the help feature.  It seems to download ok then it tells me:

C:\Docu****~1\****~1\Temp\InstallPackage - 3324.tmp Error Unknown (31).

I tried with my Anti-virus turned both on and off.  How do I update to the latest version?

You can always download and install the latest version from the top of this board manually.

For example, build 207 is here:

Thanks for the link.

I tried renaming the file extension on the .tmp file to .exe and it appeared to install fine.
I'm not sure why the app cannot handle this function itself though.  Do you have any
insight why?  Perhaps you might address this since it is a feature of your software.

There was a bug with auto-update on certain builds a few months back.

It was a tricky bug since it couldn't be fixed until the player was updated.  But it couldn't be updated automatically.
