in all of my files at one time. With out getting rid of the tags

Yes Maybe
But why would you want to?
-
There are over a hundred at last count with the wrong lyrics.
-
Just select all the files you want to remove the lyrics from. Go into the Tag window so the Lyrics field is showing and click on that. You should see <varies> and just delete that so the entire Lyrics field is empty. Close the Lyrics box and all the lyrics should be removed. Then go get the plugin DataMaster to try and get the correct lyrics and if that doesn't get them all, use Lyrics Editor to get them and upload them with DataMaster for others to enjoy.

I Guess I was confused when he said "Without Getting Rid Of The tags". It Does Not Make Sense To Me.

Could it be that Wolf has his lyrics stored both in MC and in the physical tags (where possible)? And that he now wants to delete the lyrics out of the MC library field but preserve it in the track tag (if it's there to begin with)?
If so, Wolf, then you're going to do as DC suggested, only with a couple of precautions. First of all, if the lyrics are in the file tag, they likely got there because you have "tools/options/general/impoprting & tagging/update tags when file info changes" enabled. You need to uncheck this, or when you delete the MC lyrics the tag lyrics will get deleted also.
You can check to verify the tag contains lyrics by going into "tag" and selecting "format". I don't know how to do a global sort for physical tags within MC, or if it can be done.
