Title: iPod Nano 2nd Gen. - copying is slow (~0.5 MB/sec)

Hi,

I have a 2nd generation iPod Nano 8 GB. Copying songs to it from within MC is extremely slow: ~0.5 MB/sec - so it takes forever to get anything on it.

I then tried to re-initialize the iPod from inside MC, but that completely broke it. I had to Restore the iPod from within iTunes to get it working again.

I am running version 1.1.3 firmware on the Nano - any ideas what is wrong?

(Unfortunately iTunes doesn't report the transfer speed, but it is transfering songs a lot faster.)

Is it possible the files are being converted in MC? (click "Details" on the transfer Action Window)

Also, make sure you're using a USB2 connection.

The actual file copy is pretty simple code, so it's probably a hardware issue if it's slow.
