Title: Remote Server, changing default port?

it works great on the default port 80 but anything else and i get an "unauthorized to view" error on my browser.    i have set my smoothwall to allow tcp on the desired port, and whatsmyip.org claims that port is wide open, yet i still get the error.   any thoughts on this?
