Title: Detecting Corrupt Images
Post by: KingSparta on June 01, 2007, 07:07:49 pm
I Use A Program Called Compu Pic Pro From Photodex.Com It May Show The Image As Corrupt Cutting Off The Bottom Of The Image And Displaying A Red X On The Image.

When Media Center Displays That Same Picture It Seems To Show The Image With No Problem.

Some How Media Center Is Recovering From A Bad Bit In The Image That Is Fine For Most People, But I Would Like To Know What Himages Have Problems. Maybe Some Way Of Sorting Them And Maybe Deleting Them In Media Center.

I Am Also Wondering If There Was A Program That Will Scan Images To See If They Are Indeed Corrupt In Some Way And Then Allow You To Recover From A Bad Byte Or Two.

Media Center tries to continue from errors when loading images.

We don't provide any way to flag files that don't load perfectly, short of looking at them.
