I know. It would solve a lot of complaints about compilations. I for one would map
iPod Artist = [Album Artist (auto)]
iPod Album = [Date(Year)] - [Album]
iPod Name = [track #] - [=If(IsEmpty([Album Artist]),,[Artist] -) [Name]

It's a real shame this hasn't happened, since the UI would be virtually identical to the Overrides pane in the last.fm plugin. I'm thinking of finally making the jump from MC10 to MC13, but this is the feature I'm really waiting for. Is it likely to ever happen?

Any update on this? Or workarounds?

(Yes, I know this thread is 2+ years old. But I did search for { ipod tag mapping } and found nothing. And I really want this feature.)

I thought of a workaround, but it's ugly. And if I post it, JRiver might lower the priority for this feature request even more!
