I am using the JVC LT-26WX84 TV with three inputs: DVD player on component (IN1), VCR on IN2, HTPC on Digital In. I realized that instead of running lots of extra cables and having to switch the amplifier's input as well, I could just use the TV audio out. Unfortunately, I don't get any audio--at least while using the Digital input--but it's analog audio input. I tried directly connecting the Digital in audio to the cable going to the receiver and it worked. So, it has to be something with the TV.
This is a good setup for a less than stellar home theater setup, like mine. But I can't figure out why the audio out ports aren't active. Does anyone have another TV where there is a setting to look for? Or this same TV? I have read some of the manual and it doesn't mention any special settings. Any ideas?
