Title: Big annoyance: auto playlists
Post by: benn600 on June 13, 2007, 07:39:49 pm
I vaguely remember reading that there is no way to disable the auto creation of playlists (now playing).  Is this true?  I want a way to disable automatic playlist generation.  Is there a way?

I know of now playing, recently imported, recently ripped, top hits, the folder of smartlists...

Just a simple uncheck of a checkbox to never have any auto playlists.  They just clutter up my playlist view that I so carefully keep neat.

I have also asked for something similar a while back. Don't like things I never use.
Don't get why they can't be deleted. A simple option would suffice too I guess, but there might also be ones that would only want a few of the auto playlists...

It's as if my previous playing nows were important.  They really aren't.  Most of them are either entire albums--cause I'm playing ONE song--or a playlist.  I already have my playlists...I don't need to have two copies.

The thing that really makes it troubling is the remote server--the whole playlist page is littered with those because it doesn't display folders.
