Obviously, I can't get my MC11 started to look it up as I doesn't recognize my newer MC12 library (wish I had a way to reset it to a blank library, but that's for a different conversation). There was this really useful stock smartlist that identified potential duplicates in the whole library. Did that carry to MC12? Doesn't seem like it. Can somebody help remind me of the logic/expression in that smartlist? with all the gyrations on reimporting, I am now plagued with duplicates M4P and WMA of the same song.
Thanks.

Try...
[Media Type]="audio" ~dup=[artist],[name] ~sort=[artist],[name]

I think you can just delete the library.
you can also look here for your libraries in the following locations if it does not load.
C:\Documents and Settings\{Your Name}\Application Data\J River\Media Center 12\
Also for your backups you can look here
C:\Documents and Settings\{Your Name}\Application Data\J River\Media Center 12\Library Backups
