Title: using laptop as portable (with thumbnails)

I cannot carry everything on my laptop and I like the functionality of using my laptop as a portable device from MC perspective. The following feature is still missing: the thumbnails of music files are not copied in sync operations. I guess MC can do that for some portable devices, it is hard to implement that for laptops (or arbitrary folders?)

I guess making the thumbnails in-file would solve that problem but I don't prefer that. Any suggestions?
