Title: Zen W (60) says "audio format is not supported". What to do?
Post by: Patric on June 21, 2007, 12:06:04 pm
There is a little hand-held video camera called Pure Digital.  http://www.puredigitalinc.com/.  (Pretty cool little device, actually).  I have uploaded the video to my HP PC, then brought it into my library (I use JRiver's Media Center), then transferred it to my Creative Zen W I just bought last night.  (60g).  It plays the video beautifully, but gives me the following message: "audio format is not supported".  Do you know what I need to do to get it to play?  Can I convert it?  I don't know what format the audio is in.  I have a call in to Pure Digital on this point.  But, its website says:  "MPEG-4 recorded video files saved in AVI format"

Thanks.

Patric.

What version of MC are you running? Have you tried converting the video to WMV during transfer to the W?
