Title: Flac problem with MC 12

I have upgraded recently to MC12, and have downloaded the relevant Flac Encoder (v2.2.2) and Decoder (v2.4); however, now MC12 does not recognize the 'old' flac files which I believe were encoded using Flac v1.6.  I have searched the bulletin boards, and have tried quitting MC12 and restarting, but no luck.  Is there a compatibility problem I should be aware of? ?? Seems strange.

Help before I roll back to MC11 (I am wondering why I did the upgrade in the first place!)

You'll have to explain a bit more -- many of us are successfully using the flac plugins with MC12.

When you say the files aren't recognized, what do you mean?  Are they in the database, but don't play?  Will they import but not tag or not play?  If you open the media file without importing it, does it still not work?  Did you check to make sure the flac option is selected under Options->File Associations?  Did the new decoder plugin install correctly?
