Title: Video transcode, where to adjust parameters?

I'm not sure where you adjust the portable video transcode options. Pointers would be appreciated, as well as an idiot's guide to anyone who's got it successfully working with Cowon D2 or iRiver Clix2. Thanks

I think this is a big area where improvement would be welcome.  I would like to see more options for transcoding.  Now, all I recall seeing is WMV 320x240.  I want 640x480 as well but also perhaps another codec or two...DivX, XviD, H.264.

Then, some way to support syncing (and transcoding) of perts of DVD video folders would be very useful and important.
