I recently picked up an iPod Video 30G, and every time it updates the Last Played value for a song in MC 12.0.251, it adds an extra hour. If I play the song at 10:52p on my iPod, it updates MC to say Last Played at 11:52p. The computer & iPod times are both correct, XPsp2 PC is set to use DST, iPod is set to DST timezone. The playback times show up correctly in iTunes - but that doesn't do me much good. Searching the forum, I found a couple very old (2+ years) threads on similar problems, but nothing current. Am I the only one seeing this? Tx.

Make sure the iPod is set to daylight saving's time. A new nano I just tried had DST disabled by default, which could explain a shift of an hour.

Thanks for the reply, but that doesn't seem to be it. The timezone is set to US Eastern (DST), and the attributes of the only clock I created say that Daylight Saving Time = On. I had an 8G Nano that was stolen about six weeks ago that did not exhibit this problem, but that was using MC builds earlier than 12.0.251 ...

I've got the same problem. My ipod is set to UK time and DST is turned on. Both the time on my ipod nano 2nd gen and OS Windows XP are correct.
Any other ideas what's causing this oddity?

Should be fixed next build. It was a daylight savings time problem.
Thanks for the help.

Should be fixed next build. It was a daylight savings time problem.
FYI - This is not fixed in 12.0.279.

Maybe you have to delete files from the iPod and resync.
-
Ouch. I suppose I can wipe it and let it re-sync overnight - it won't hurt anything.
I think this is a stretch, though - there's nothing wrong with the files on the iPod; they report the correct times in iTunes.
-
You could try a couple of files.

The change is in build 281 and later:
Fixed: With daylight savings in effect, dates loaded from an iPod could be off by an hour.
Hopefully available on the public board soon.
