Title: Playing videos in a external player?
Post by: Frost on July 08, 2007, 01:43:36 pm
Hey, was wondering if someone could help.

I really love the organizing features of MC12, but is it possible to play ALL videos in a external player. Reason for me wanting to do this, is VLC supports broken files, and codec-less playback. I noticed that the documents section launched some vids (that MC didnt know the format of, externally). Is there anyway I could make this work with all video format by changing association or something?

Thanks in advance.

the easy way, for not ifo/vob files is changing the mediatype in the tags of the video files to data. it then plays through the default player you set in windows for that type of file. do this with one or a few first. you can then always change the few in video to also show data to still get your videoos there.
