Title: Export All Playlists - Is this command working
Post by: jack wallstreet on July 08, 2007, 07:24:04 pm
I am using 12.0.273 and have just noticed that "export all playlists" is dimmed.  I heavily rely on this function and haven't tried to use it in the last few versions and now can't use it.

Is there some setting I need to do (that I don't know or remember) or is there a bug?

Problem still seems to exist in 12.0.278.  There is a reference to this problem being fixed earlier (.270?), but if it is I can't figure it out.  Any suggestions or even a workaround would be appreciated.

I see what you mean. It's greyed out for me also. Must be a bug.

While some attention is given to fixing this, could there please be some consideration to providing a means of exporting all playlists "silently" so that no user intervention is required. I'm trying to automate the process inside a script using the command MC12.exe /MCC 20004 but unfortunatley, this pops up a message box requiring user acknowledgement.

Maybe something like MC12.exe /MCC 20004,1 to supress the message box please?

Thanks.

Please...let's not have it back in the same old position. i never use 'export all playlists' but i use
File->'export  playlist' on the toolbar all the time.

Lost count of the times i've accidently selected the wrong option (export all playlists) and have MC churn away for ages before having to kill it !!

Bring it back but in a different location, otherwise provide a confirmation dialog so it can be cancelled out in case of an accident.

It'll be reenabled in a coming build.

Sorry about that.

Yes, thanks Matt. Any chance of implementing my small request above also please?

Thanks again.

Also, if this is something that is being worked on, it would be great if you could choose the file location when you export all folders.  I use this feature often, and it automatically exports the playlists to a folder inside the JRiver folders without giving you a choice where to put them.
