Title: Available TV Channel list vs Playlist
Post by: doctorjellybean on July 12, 2007, 03:58:39 am
I find the favourite tv channel playlist a little longwinded and slow to set up. Therefore, is it possible to edit the Available Channels list itself, removing stations I don't want in the list and sorting it to my liking?

Thank you.

Yes, you can.

Options -> TV Channels tab.

Select the channels you want to delete, right-click, and choose "Delete Channel" or "Delete Selected Channels".

With regard to sorting, you either sort by channel number or by station name (by clicking the respective column headers). You can add an ordinal number in front of each station name to sort the list in the way you want.

Thank you.

Perhaps, in a later release, an option can be added to use keyboard shortcuts, e.g. Del, F2 (rename)? It would make it easier than right-clicking.

I have noticed that there is a slight delay when scrolling the list in Options. Scrolling the Available Channels list is much faster and smoother.
