Hi
I know that MC12 can convert lossles audio files such as .ape .flac etc. to a desired lossy format (example lame vbr)
But can it also split a single .ape or .flac file using the .cue file?.

Not directly.... you need a programm like
Cue Splitter:

But this would be a cool tool in Mc12.

MC12 can do this...
Drop the cue file into playing now or right click the cue file > Media Center > add to Playing Now
--If the file doesn't import into playing now, open the cue file with notepad
--Find the line with the file path...normally starts FILE. (FILE "<Files name or path and name>" WAVE)
--Check the file name/path to make sure it's correct. Also make sure it ends in the right extention (.ape,.flac)
--Save any changes and add cue file to playing now.
Select the files > Right click selected files > Library Tools > Convert Format

Cool!. It sounds like It's almost as easy as with regular .ape .flac conversions.
I gotta try this right away. :)
Thanks!.

I tested this with .flac + cue and it didn't work.
However I downloaded the In_FLAC.dll plugin and then it worked! :)
The converted (mp3 lame) file names turned out looking like this:
CDImage.mp3
CDImage(1).mp3
CDImage(2).mp3
CDImage(3).mp3
But that was easily fixed with the "Rename files from properties" option, cause it was displayed and tagged correct in MC's playing now window.
Again, thanks!
