Title: Show in Theater View
Post by: thurston on July 27, 2007, 08:30:29 am
In the Edit View Scheme window, what does the "Show in Theater View" checkbox do?  I'd really like to change the fields that are shown in Theater view and I'm thinking that this checkbox has something to do with it.  For instance, when I select Video in Theater View, I'd like to be able to narrow my selection by Genre, then Album, then Name, rather than by Genre, Album, and Year, which is one of the two default options.

Yea, you're on to it.
You can edit each of the views. The main Audio, Video and Image views, and you can add your own view schemes under this ones. When editing, select "Show in Theater View" to be able to select it there for browsing. There you enter Audio, video or audio hit "View" and select your new View Scheme.

The last sentence there is what puzzeled me for a while. -That the right view scheme is not shown the first time you enter theater view. But as I said, you have to select it from within the right scheme group.
