I was thinking I could use MJ to catalog my audio CDs by letting it look up the CDDB info, then importing into Library. This seems to work, but I would now like to have a list of all tracks in the MJ library (some on removeable CD, some on hard drive-MP3). In Media view, I only see hard drive tracks...under Devices, I see each CD volume and can see the tracks for it.
Does anyone know how to access both sets of tracks? Is the library in any kind of database format that I could define it and report against it?

Actually, you don't have to import anything. Every time you make a new CD known to MJ and look up it's CDDB info, it's added to the "CD" database. You get to it using the "~d=cmt" search modifier. "c" is the CD database, "m" is the main database, and "t" is the temporary database. The default is just "m" which is why you don't normally see them. Look for "search modifiers" in Help.

Thanks for the guidance. I've been thinking I was underutilizing all these cool features.
Now that I have imported some of the CD track listings into the library, does that hurt anything? I know they don't show up under the regular media view, so I guess it's OK?

Yes, they will show up when you click on "CD and DVD Media" in your media library. My only complain is that only the album title is listed. I wish it were Artist - Album Title.

Shouldn't. Just delete the dups if there are any and they bother you.

You can change the view scheme to anything you want, or create a new one.
