Title: MC12 newbie - iPod management startup

I am switching from iTunes 7.3.1 to MC12 to manage my iPod.  I have lots of music and artwork loaded on my iPod and I have a mp3 music library on my USB drive.  So, my question is where to start and in what order?

Welcome to Interact.  Did you download MC12 and install it yet?

Import is automatic if you set up the folders to watch.

After that, just plug in your iPod.  Test transfer of a small playlist first, then go for it.

MC12 is installed but I did not import any music. So, are you saying to first point MC12 to my music library and then do an import? Next, plug in my iPod and build a test playlist? What will happen with the current iPod music?

Things are looking good with 2200+ songs being managed and sync'd. :)
