Title: Putting photogalleries on Facebook
Post by: park on August 07, 2007, 07:16:48 am
Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas. I dont want to upload different photo galleries in different places, and I like the convenience of being able to upload directly from MC. So I'm looking for a way to put up some thumbnail links to my media center galleries on my facebook page somehow.

The best way i can see, is using a facebook app called vuvox photo slide. It lets you link to flicker, and any other rss based galleries. I'm wondering if it's possible to make rss feeds out of the links to my media center galleries somehow. I'm a bit lost in this area.

Help appreciated.
Thanks.

Thanks. I've read that thread too.
So I guess through lack of response there's no easy way to wrap MC's html gallery links into an rss feed?

How about using MC's manual "Send to web" settings to send pictures to a flickr account. Has anybody ever tried this? Flickr sets also import to the photo app I want to use on facebook, so now I'm a bit lost about which service to use.

Park, the most easy way to upload to flickr and other services (box, picasa, youtube, webshots, omidrive, facebook)

is with firefox and extension fireuploader...just drag and drop from within MC  :)

it's perfect, (but i do have some probs uploading to facebook...)

 :)

Thanks.
What problems do you have uploading to facebook?
I've just hit my limit for creating flickr sets. They want me to pay for a pro account to get more. So I'll experiment with putting image playlists from MC onto facebook with that firefox addon, and see how that goes.
