Title: how does the jrss surround sound work?

just curious. does it take some of the middle frequencies and send those to the back, or that is how it sounds to me (but that could also be because i have some old crapy speakers as back and studio monitors as front). or what. i searched for some info but could not find it. nice plug in, use it a lot.  :)
