Nasa TV provides a live Internet broadcast during the Space Shuttle Endeavour's STS-118 mission. The astronauts are now making preparations for today's EVA (Extra Vehicular Activity).
The streaming media links are on this Nasa page:

The Real Media link seems to have the best image quality:
http://www.nasa.gov/ram/35037main_portal.ram
It works fine with MC12 if Real Player or Real Alternative is installed on the PC.
For some reason the Windows Media link does not work with MC. It produces only loud buzzing audio noise. However, as I said, the quality when played with WMP11 is not as good as the quality of the Real Media stream. The QuickTime version is the worst of these three.

I thought it was just me - we watched the Mars take off last week but only got buzzing the MC12 - had to watch it using MPlayer.

Totally OT and apologies in advance, but could not help noticing jmone's avatar over the last few days and wondering why the fascination with Big Ben, until i read its down for 6 weeks for some cleaning and repairs.
Something about it losing bongs :D
This has only happened 3 times in the century & half its been telling time.

Ahhh - its not Big Ben....The Photo was taken from inside the Musée d'Orsay & I just like the pic...
