Title: Cannot RIP from CD
Post by: Dr._Selzam on September 28, 2003, 07:54:54 pm
?
Hi all,

After being absolutely blown by MJ 8 - the best of everything I had so far - I am a little bit despaired now: I cannot rip from a music CD. I read the instruction over and over, and I can get the track info from the database, I can edit it, I can select the files, but then it says: '6. Now press the "Copy" button to begin the CD copying process.' The only COPY button I could find was one in the toolbar customize list. But this has no noticable effect. I also tried the RIP CD button, but only get the message 'CD Copy Window already opened.' Same problem with context menu.

Everything else works fine, but one thing: In the Options - Device - Audio CD Copy dialog, I can select drive T: (SCSI, Yamaha CRW-F1), but after closing options, it reverts to drive R: (IDE, Sony DVD-ROM DDU 1612). But I tried the Sony as well, but it didn't work either.

I use an Intel P4 PC with 2.6 GHz and Win XP Home.

I would highly appreciate your help! Thank you in advance!
