Title: v10 vs v12 : missing feature in v12

I have recently updated my MC from 10 to 12.
In v10,there was an icon in audio view that was greyed out when that audio file wasnt available.
This seems to be missingin v12.
Can this feature be activated in v12?

I know that an X appears over thumbnails on files that are unavailable.  This probably isn't visible in detail view.

MC12 has three different image columns:

Image (large thumbnail)
Image (small thumbnail)
Image (small icon)

You can add any of these columns to a details view (... or remove from). You can also change the horizontal placement.

The "Image (small icon)" column is what you are looking for. It shows a "red X" icon if the file is missing.

In this screenshot I have all three image columns visible:
