I much prefer to use JRiver Media Center, but as it currently doesn't support Subtitles, I'm using PowerCinema (which is crap).
As there are quite a number of other programs (PowerCinema, Blaze HDTV) which supports Subtitles (Teletext in UK, page 888) for TV broadcast, surely it is time for JRiver Media Center to do the same. I'm hard of hearing and rely on Subtitles to enjoy and follow TV programs. I'm quite willing to beta test such a feature :)
Thank you.

It does too support subtitles, I thought? All you have to do is: when you are in the display mode playing a DVD, just use the keyboard arrows up and down to cycle through a list of configuration options (Volume, Brightness, Saturation, Subtitles) and then use the arrow right or left when on subtitles.
I find that they usually work. Sometimes, unfortunately, it doesn't cycle through as it should so perhaps MC doesn't support all subtitles.

Hi Doc,
I will work on it. Sorry I just can not promise you a definite time frame.

It really would be much appreciated, thank you :)
