Title: crash: many large strings in panes

I am observing a repeatable crash.

If I create a view with several panes of string type fields, and if those fields have many long strings, then I observe MC has trouble rendering the pane content. If I then attempt to scroll or edit content in the pane MC crashes. It does not seem to make any difference if the string type is standard or large value.

Are you using the default skin?  Anything else not standard issue?
