Title: Can't burn Audio CD's from WMA files...
Post by: justinitials on August 23, 2007, 11:39:13 pm
I've tried everything I can think of, I've been wanting to burn an audio cd using DRM WMA files I downloaded from DirectSong.  I have the rights installed and no problem playing the files.  I can even burn them using Nero or JetAudio.  But when I try to burn them in Media Center, my drive (no matter what speed) skips a few tracks then just sits for a few minutes and ejects like it finished the whole cd.

I have an Asus 1814BL (if that makes any difference).  But like I said I can burn these with no probs in other software apps (Just don't want to use those).  I can even burn MP3 CD's just fine in Media Center.  It's just these WMA's.

Any ideas, it's driving me nuts!
Otherwise, I'm hooked on this program!

If no one has the cure for your problem, then I would suggest that you convert the .wma's to Wav or any other lossless format. But remember to keep the original files.
Then burn the Wav (or such) files.

Thanks Higginz,  But I can't convert the format on those, so I'll just keep JetAudio around to burn these cd's.  Thanks for the help!
