Title: Hauppauge PVR USB2 - popping noise from Aux audio in, not with antenna
Post by: Mastiff on September 12, 2007, 04:15:09 am
I'm having a big problem with the Hauppauge PVR USB2 that I'm using as a part of a computer/TV system in the bedroom. Every now and then it starts making a loud "popping" noise that comes maybe once a second or every other second, "pop-pop-pop". Does anybody know what this may be, and what I can do with it? If I go to antenna in instead of aux input, it will dissappear. And it comes back when I go back to the Aux input.

Thanks in advance!

It would be worth staying with the most recent betas on that, Tor.  There are Men Working in the TV area right now.

Thanks, Jim! I will upgrade and see (I think this computer is around 20 betas back). But for all I know this may be in the drivers or something. I haven't even installed other programs to use with the card, so it may be the same in all applications and not MC related. Which is why I didn't write this in the beta board.
