Title: Itunes multiple playlist import - while waiting for MC12 for Classic Ipod

I am trying to suffer through with Itunes while waiting for the port of MC12 for the Classic.  Is there a way to import multiple playlists?  when I try to do that by using folder import, I get all the playlist songs in the library but no actual playlists.  Importing playlists one by one through the standard command is not practical. Is this a "welcome to Itunes" thing or am I just missing somethin.
