Title: How to I Re-Validate my Reigistration Key?
Post by: bradesp on September 17, 2007, 08:59:01 pm
I have a new computer and I've removed all my old programs from the old computer.  I've reinstalled JRiver Media center.  I've requested a new installation key via email.  Great, so far, so good.   Now when I start media center and click on help and then click on registration it asks me to either request a new key (which I already have) or it asks me to restore the new key from an .mjr file... what gives?  My renewed install key came to me in an email with a long string of characters... what does this have to do with an .MJR file?

By long string do you mean 35 characters (more or less) or a few hundred? I'm guessing it's 35. You need to go to the restore page:
https://rover.jriver.com/cgi-bin/restore.cgi and enter those 35ish characters there, you'll get a MJR file back.

For more info, see

Thanks,

j
