Jim Do We Still Need To Use There Version Of MC?
I Would Switch From Yahoo Music For Sure, and I am sure others would also.
If Not, Could You Explain What The Reason For This Would Be? (Don't Just Say Yes Or No, I Phrased This To Be A Open Question).

It's similar to Yahoo. You could purchase with their player and play with MC. We may provide a store in the future.

Thanks. MediaNetDigital (formerly MusicNet) is the back-end provider of the music for both Yahoo and Road Runner.

In general, any store that uses Windows Media DRM (and this is most of the non-Apple stores) provides music that should work fine in MC. Is that what you meant?

Well I Was Wondering If There Was A Licensing Limitation\Issue Between You And MediaNetDigital On Why This Is Not Allowed In The Full Version Of MC.

I Figured That Out
It's Just That There Player (Yahoo) Is Just "Gal Dang Awful" (A Bit Of Southern Talk There).

I think the Yahoo player came before Yahoo acquired Meedio. It may be something they bought from a group that left Winamp a few years ago.

The yahoo music player is an abomination of Musicmatch's jukebox. Yahoo bought out Musicmatch and killed it, but developed this "thing" in its place. I am glad it happenned because I discovered J River.

Thanks for the kind words.
I don't think that the Yahoo player is related at all to the MusicMatch player, even though the purchase of MusicMatch and the launch of the player weren't far apart.

I concur there isn't much of a relationship. When the very first trial version of Yahoo came out, a few aspects of the player had a passing resemblence to some features in Musicmatch. When I complained about the player, Yahoo told me to be patient and they would be putting more features of Musicmatch into the Yahoo player (they didn't). I assumed that while the Yahoo player was not in any significant way similar to Musicmatch, they must have used some of the same programmers who used a few characteristics here and there.

Great news!!! I really hope that J River Media Player takes off in great strides with Road Runner and even more partnership deals will come for J River in the future.
Congratulations to the entire J River team!

As long as Media Center does not become the next MusicMatch as far as the company's futures, then I am happy.

Well done guys!
