DSP Studio
I have mentioned in other posts that I am experiencing some amplitude fluctuations (volume). I started to play with my DSP settings.
Problem settings are:
Equalizer – default ROCK
Effects – Jazz (4), 10”sub, widest
Volume leveling – none
Output- The problem configuration was 24 bit, 2channel stereo, 192,000Hz others were set on default.
Tempo/Pitch – none
Overflow – clip
I changed Output from 24 to 16 bit and Overflow to none. When I toggle effects on and off I notice that the Peak Level meter Jumps up (almost doubles). I start getting volume fluctuations. I have had to turn off the Equalizer as well this is noticable on some songs but not all.
I really enjoy the depth that the jazz setting gives on PC speakers. Is their a fix?
