Title: Cover Art Issues- iPod Classic 80Gig
Post by: Yorrick on October 15, 2007, 11:29:08 pm
Anyone understand where iPod gets its cover art images from? Like can I use a folder.jpg image for the album art for a CD?

As it is right now, if I try to use MC to get album art, in cover flow etc. all that shows up is the MC logo instead of the iTunes one, but not the album cover. I somehow got a few working, but even when using MP3tag iPod isn't recognizing the art in the tag. Kind of frustrating.

I'm using MC (12.338) on Windows 2000 with an 80GB iPod Classic.

If you aren't using the latest build from the MC12 board here, please try it.

K still not entirely sure how this works, but it seems MC either isn't updating the tags at all (which is annoying) or iPod doesn't recognize image tags. However, adding an album with a folder.jpg cover image will make it work in cover flow.
