Title: Turn off skins?
Post by: belwig on October 17, 2007, 07:55:04 pm
I use remote desktop a lot to access my MC machine. Skins tends to slow this down by adding graphics, whereas RD seems to be optimized for 'normal' windows. Is there a way to turn off skinning completely and just use normal windows UI elements? Thanks.

a long time ago, a member named knickelfarz made some windows skins for this very reason...

there was windows classic look...

and windows xp silver look...

I've put them both up here (http://www.theganghut.co.uk/files/mc/noskins.zip) if you're interested. Just unzip the contents to your "MC install directory\megaskins\" folder.

Hi Marko - thread hijack. I just wanted to say that your album D above (David Gilmour) is one of my all time favorites...
