I have tried every troubleshooting solution, but MC appears to be unable to recognize my new Apple iTouch. If you have any suggestions, I am certainly open to any input.
My goal is to purchase a license for MC, but if it does not recognize my iTouch, I'm afraid I'll have to continue using iTunes.

AFAIK, MC only supports the iPod Classic of the new iPods.

MC12 supports the new Classic and Nano. It doesn't support the Touch or the iPhone. If Apple stops changing firmware to prevent it, we may add support. No idea when.

Thank you both for your speedy response. This is my first trip into Apple Land. I've always been a Sony man, and I swore I'd never buy an Apple product, but the technology was just too exciting to pass up. Sony still produces the better sound in the end, but Sony is very poor in providing a screen that I can see clearly.
Please excuse my bloviating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bottom line, thanks again for the clarification, and I will look forward to using MC when it is able to support the iPod touch.
THANKS!
