Title: media center 12 new install

I downloaded your trial and had to reformat my hard drive.
The problem was that an error message "Media Center Receiver Service has encountered a problem and has to close"
would pop up every 10 seconds.

I tried to do a system restore after uninstalling the program, but winxp would not do the restore at any point.

You do not have any requirments about the program on your site. I already have the microsoft media center version installed,
but it lacks features of your program. Which is why I installed it in the first place.

I guess my question would be is this program compatible with the microsoft media center edition?

It is, but the error message you have is from MCE not from our program.

Next time, you could try a google search for the exact error message.  This usually turns up something.
