Title: Flashing Video Artifact with EVR
Post by: martychen on November 04, 2007, 02:06:07 pm
When I double click on any of my mpeg video files in Media Center and it starts playing in fullscreen mode, there are some flashing/flickering video artifact bar on the left side of the actual playing video.  It's very annoying and the only workaround I found so far is: Right click on the playing video, left click anywhere on the screen, and gone with both the popup menu and the flashing artifact.  Also, if I am switching back from fullscreen to Media Center video, the same artifact (smaller) will show up in the playing now video window.

I am using Enhanced Video Renderer (EVR) with my mpeg video files, other video renderers don't seem to have such a problem.

Its a Nvidia Vista drivers bug. Nothing JR can do I'm afraid.

Cheers
