I'm getting a "Command Sequence Error" any time I try to burn a CD (midway through burning track 6). I've tried to re-order the tracks, so I know it's not a corrupted song issue. I've now wasted 3 blank cds trying. Any suggestions?

Can you provide details about what it is that you're trying to burn?
Original files, size, etc.
Data or Audio?
-
I'm trying to burn an audio CD, comprised of 21 mp3 files (107.4 MB, 01:17:55).

Could be a difficult time with the drive, but can you describe how you're doing this?
Dragging files to the window? From what location?

Hi Jim,
Thanks for helping dig into this. I'm creating a CD the way I've done it since MJ9 -- I create a playlist so that it's less than 80 minutes long, then I right-click on that playlist and send it to the burner. I haven't burned a cd in a while, so not sure when this started happening. Should I try a different way? The list looks normal when I view it in the burning queue.
Thanks!!

Try burning a couple of tracks by dragging them onto the Burn Window.
If you're converting from mp3, try playing them first. Try a conversion from mp3 to wav without burning.

I converted the files to wav, and tried to burn a CD, and got the same error. All tracks play without a problem. A few tracks will burn just fine. The system seems to get stuck about 75% through track 6 (no matter what that track is).
BTW, I just used Nero to burn the whole CD and it worked great.
Let me know if you have other suggestions on things to try -- I'd love to get this resolved so I don't have to use another program to burn CDs.
Thanks!!
