Title: Ripping problem
Post by: Andy on August 13, 2002, 03:31:05 pm
I cantīt rip any cdīs within Jukebox 8.0.347
(See my config below.)
If i go into the tree - select the desired cd-rom - the tracks are displayed correctly. But after clicking on copy the error "Read track failed. Not initialized" appears. Itīs not a copy protected cd.
I tried all settings concerning the copy mode and the speed.
I rip with the same system many cdīs with "Exact Audio Copy", "CDex" -so the error should not be in the hardware.

Also an odd behaviour:
I have a burner and two cd-roms installed (cd1 is i:, cd2 is j: and the burner is k:). If i go into the tree and select j: to rip - in the options dialog always i: is displayed as "cd-drive".

Andy

It may not work, but try the FAQ on CD Burning here and download the latest ASPI.

ASPI-Layer Updated to v4.6 (1026).
Problem still existing.

But i see in the forum, that others have this ripping problem too.

I am currently using the "non plus" version. But am i right - Ripping should be working with the 30 day trial version also?
