Title: Open to a specific function?

Hi Guys,

Just wondering if it's possible to have MC open to a specific function.

I run everything out of MC and am thinking of buying a universal remote, but want to be able to program the macro's properly e.g when I press the "Watch DVD" macro it would go to the "Movies" function (I have my DVDs ripped to HDD) and do the whole volume adjustment thing.

Where MC isn't running at all - the macro would open MC to the selected function straight away.

Are there parameters that I can add to the command line on my remote to do this?

I think your best bet is going to be Girder (http://www.promixis.com/products.php?section=girder).
