Title: larger fonts and cover art in theatre view

in media center 12.0.164 the theatre view works very fine on tv. large fonts and large cover art. in the newer versions there are very nice effects, but on tv it looks a bit to complex for me. to many information and too much effects (with animated "cover art rotation").
i like the simple view of 12.0.164. larger cover art and artist/album info. when i switch to this view i get only very small cover art and a small font. can i use the style of 12.0.164 in the newest version?

You're not the only one :)
In Theater View Select Views
Then Toggle Thumbnails/Details/Line up Until you
get the old view back.

thank you for the reply. Toggle Thumbnails/Details/Line up works, but the view you get is different from the old one in 12.0.164. The font and the cover art are smaller. And in the bottom there is a status display I don't want to see (rating, filename...). When I choose 200% in the options to get a larger view on tv, the fonts are even smaller than with 12.0.164 and the top bar is much to big.

Have you also selected View -> Artist/Album

Font size is changeable in tools->options->Theatre View

I don't see any rating or filename in mine, so it's a case of finding the right view
I think.

Under tools->Options->Theater View->Appearance->Select Font, you can change the type of font used, but not the size.  It's locked in at 12, and any attempt to change it (at least on my copy of 12.0.374) results in a message that says "Size must be between 12 and 12 points."

When I changed the size to 200%, everything (fonts, thumbnails) got twice as big. Isn't that what you want it to do? What Theater View skin are you using?
