Title: Feature request: Double click from windows explorer
Post by: tombert on November 19, 2007, 04:10:07 pm
The "double click" behaviour from outside MC i.e. windows explorer should behave in the same way as inside MC. Currently it adds files only to the end.

thx

If you right click on the file in Windows Explorer, what's the first option listed (should be in bold text). For me, it says "Play in Media Center" and that's exactly what it does. It completely replaces Playing Now with the file I just double clicked on. Does yours say the same thing?

Actually, scratch that... it actually does the equivalent of Add (play now).

Shell extensions (right-clicking on a file in Explorer) should offer more choices.

I'll know about shell extension and I'am using it.
But ... I only wanted to note that - for me personally - the double clicking behaviour could/should behave in the same way as inside MC. It would be consequent.
