Title: Leave non-available cover art empty instead of putting a JRiver icon into it!
Post by: TB2 on November 23, 2007, 04:20:19 pm
Hi,

I have an iPod classic and loading cover art usually slows down the device. I really enjoy the feature that fetches missing album art from the net, but if I then load my tracks to the iPod all the tracks which have no album art on the PC get a MC logo instead of the iPod standard black-on-gray notes.

This really doesn't have to be this way, right? The iPod struggles enough only by loading real album art, so where can I disable this MC icon stuff?

Thanks!

Cover art files are small so it shouldn't seriously affect the speed.

I don't know of a way to do what you're asking.

That's odd... Lately I've noticed that the MC artrwork is not sent to the iPod anymore if there is no real cover art present in a song...

I'll have to check it out better...

...Michel.

New builds do not do this.

You can get the latest build from the top of this board.

Ah yes, I noticed that upon updating. Thanks!
