Title: Jukebox "Plus" upgrade to 8.0.347 = broken!
Post by: Mark B. on August 13, 2002, 09:55:53 am
I launched JB 7.x, and it "auto-upgraded" itself to 8.0.347.

Now I can no-longer rip a CD ("Read Track Failed.  Not Initialized") nor can I play one ("It has been determined that ASPI software is not present....").

Things I've done:  Adjusted the settings in my device manager to the settings you recommend.

Downloaded the ASPI software direct from Adaptec (the "auto fetch" feature in the error dialog didn't appear to work - but neither did the software I downloaded).

What I have:
Win 98, IDE CDROM drive

Everything worked fine before this "upgrade".  :-/

Thanks for your help.
Mark

Mmmm

Win98 you say....ofcourse the update should work but win98 gives allot of problems to. Try downloading the whole package of the website and re-installing it. Ofcourse after you removed your old installation!

This will be fixed in the next build -- tomorrow or the next day.  Sorry for the problem.
