Title: cover art display woes
Post by: pgrisham on November 25, 2007, 11:14:56 am
I am frustrated with cover art display.  In display view, cover art does not display properly in track info displays if they are different sizes.  In Ocean (or simple), for example, I have several covers I manually scanned years ago at a high res (900 dpi?) and they do not resize to a smaller size in Ocean.  In fact, the whole display is centered on the right half of the screen, as if I had a dual monitor setup and the right half of the screen was on the second monitor.  This only happens on these large cover art sizes.  I thought MC was automatically supposed to resize.

I get cover art from different sources, so this problem will be ongoing unless I can get MC to help me out!  Can I edit the track info files to fix this?  I could figure out that part with a little prodding in the right direction.

It seems too easy for MC to standardize cover art to be having these problems.  Am I missing something?

I have noticed a similar issue. Changing from one Track Info Template to another and suddenly the cover art no longer shows. I was about to post the following when I saw your post:

Quote
Display Window -> Track Info -> Right-Click -> Show Cover Art When Small:
When using Track Info Templates - prevents some covers from displaying when checked on some templates, prevents same cover from displaying when un-checked on another template.
So some templates work with Show Cover Art When Small checked, while others work with Show Cover Art When Small unchecked.
How do I always display covers regardless of size?

I think this may be related.

Some of the track info pages don't adapt as well as others to different sizes of cover art.  MC does not resize the images, so it's up to the HTML of the track info to do any resizing it wants.
