Title: default smartlists -> analysis
Post by: trott on November 26, 2007, 05:26:28 am
I seem to remember that (back in the old days  :D ) there was a default smartlist called 'needs audio analysis' which would show you all songs without either bpm info, intensity info or replaygain info. Has this been removed from MC? While I can create it by hand, it certainly was useful to have it by default.

It's still there...

Look under Smartlists (Audio) for "Task -- needs audio analysis".

It is present only if it was included with an old imported library. MC12 contains only a few stock smartlists and "Task -- needs audio analysis" is not one of them.

Here is the smartlist rule:
[Media Type]=[audio] ([Replay Gain]=0 or [Peak Level]=0 or [BPM]=0 or [Intensity]=0)

Create a new smartlist and press the Import/Export button in the Edit Smartlist window. Paste the rule in there and save this smartlist with your preferred name.

Edit:
you -> your
I need to replace the batteries of my cordless keyboard. It has started to skp ky prsses...

A good way to separate the old-timers from the new guys :)

Interesting... :-) Of course, I've upgrading since 7.2 so that explains it...
