Title: ripping? analyzing devices?

i've been trying to rip music off my cd's and it's hit and miss whether i do it - it rips one song then it will freeze i also keep getting a box up saying please wait..analyzing devices i have mj v8.0.336 i had no problems with mj7 is there a patch or anything to fix the bug?

would it help do you think if i re-installed or should i update to 347?
